ENTRANCE FEES & PAYMENTS
An entry fee is required to enter the Miss Black America Pageant® as an at-large delegate. The fee amount is advertised on the Miss Black America Pageant website.
Delegate may seek sponsors or may pay the entry fee herself. All sponsors are recognized in the Miss Black America Pageant® program book at no charge.
Payment may be made by personal check, money order, or credit card via PayPal. Delegates may make payments toward the total entry fee. *Online payments are preferred.
Payments of any amount must be made at least every 30 days until the total fee is received. Failure to remit payment every 30 days may result in loss of title and fees paid.
Delegate's title will be assigned after payment has been received in full by the Miss Black America Pageant Please see “At-Large Delegates / Title Representation for details regarding title assignment.
The Miss Black America Pageant® is self-supporting and relies solely upon entry fees to cover production expenses. Production expenses include but are not limited to: advertising, theater rentals, performers’ fees, judges' expenses, staging, supplies, prizes, awards, etc.
A significant percentage of the entry fee is directed back to each delegate in the form of meals, entertainment, parties, gifts, and prizes.
Entry fee does not include:
• Travel expenses
• Competition and Opening Number wardrobe
• Program book ads (optional)
• Sash & Crown
• Personal expenses
All fees paid to the Miss Black America Pageant are NOT REFUNDABLE and NOT TRANSFERABLE in full or in part for under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to entry fees, advertising fees, pageant admission ticket sales fees, guest meal fees and any other fees paid to the Miss Black America Pageant by anyone including, but not limited to, delegates, sponsors, and advertisers.
Entrance Fee Deadline is: July 1ST
Entry fees must be paid in full by the entry deadline. Preliminary pageants must be concluded by the entry deadline. There will be no exceptions under any circumstances.
All required delegate paperwork (e.g., Biographical Information Form, etc.) must be complete and received by the Miss Black America Pageant by the paperwork deadline which is the Delegate Handbook.
All deadlines are strictly enforced and must be adhered to by entrant and preliminary pageant directors. Entrant (and director, if applicable) understands and agrees to the following penalty for late submission of required items, including paperwork, photography and full payment of fees by posted deadlines: A total of 1 point per day per late item is deducted from delegate’s total score.
