Ryann Richardson is a tech marketer, entrepreneur, and advocate championing diversity and inclusion in business and technology. As an agency owner, and later as a corporate marketing leader, she earned a professional reputation as an expert consumer marketing strategist and brand architect, specializing in high-growth lifestyle, entertainment, and technology brands. She's led marketing efforts for some of the most recognizable brands in the world, including T-Mobile and Uber, and now serves as Vice President of Marketing for Victor, the global leader in private jet charter technology.
Ryann's personal mission is to introduce more girls, minorities, and children from underserved communities to a world of possibilities in technology and business. She served on the employee led D&I Taskforce at Uber, and frequently speaks on panels and in public forums discussing issues of education, professional development and opportunity for underrepresented populations.
As a strong believer in pageantry as a vehicle for women's empowerment and capacity building, Ryann spent years serving as a spokesperson, titleholder, volunteer, and judge. She was Miss District of Columbia USA 2017, Miss Philadelphia 2009 and,a 6-time Miss America state pageant Runner-up and is now honored to serve as our historic 50th Anniversary Queen Miss Black America 2018-19, dedicating her reign to supporting efforts to advance the professional, political, and economic condition of women and minorities in the District and beyond.
